Therapists

I’m an integrative therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children, young people, and adults. I offer a warm, relational, and creative approach, adapting how I work to suit the individual needs of each person or family I support. I provide a safe, compassionate space for those navigating challenges such as trauma, loss, anxiety, and attachment difficulties. I work with children, young people, parents/carers and adults.

My approach is relational, integrative, and flexible, always shaped around the individual needs, strengths, and preferences of the people I work with. I use a range of creative mediums—such as play, art, and nature-based approaches—to support expression and emotional processing, particularly when words are hard to find. At the same time, I’m equally comfortable offering a more talking-based therapy for those who prefer a reflective, verbal space. I can work with parents and carers alongside their children, using Theraplay and DDP-informed approaches to strengthen connection, build co-regulation, and support healing in relationships. Whether working with a child, a teenager, or an adult, I focus on building trust, fostering emotional safety, and supporting each person’s journey at their own pace. I bring warmth, empathy, playfulness, acceptance and curiosity to my work, and I’m passionate about coming alongside individuals and families as they move toward greater connection, resilience, and healing.

I began my career working in therapeutic communities, supporting children and young people affected by attachment disruption, relational trauma, and loss. Since then, I’ve continued to work across a variety of settings and remain deeply committed to helping people move forward after experiencing Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). I’ve undertaken a range of additional training, including: Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Theraplay, Life story work, BUSS (sensory attachment integration), Animal-assisted and eco therapy, EMDR therapy (currently in training; I’ll be accepting EMDR referrals from September 2025) EMDR is a powerful approach that can help with both complex trauma and single-event traumatic experiences, such as accidents, medical procedures, or assaults.
