My approach is psychodynamic, with a strong focus on early experiences, unconscious dynamics, and intergenerational influence. Alongside this, I offer a creative, intuitive way of working — using writing, imagery, metaphor, and visual tools where words may not be enough. This can help clients access deeper insight and emotional clarity. I use ritual and clients can bring in art work that can help access ancestral and cultural connection. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel safe, understood, and gently challenged. My practice is warm, inclusive, queer-affirming, neurodiverse-positive, and actively anti-racist. Whilst I may have an anti racist approach I work with clients from all backgrounds and communities. I provide a holding space to explore. Trauma is dealt with gently and defences are challenged empathically, with emphasis on the right pace for the client. I encourage creativity and playfulness that is specific and nuanced to each client. I view therapy as a collaborative process, where meaningful change emerges through the relationship we build together. If this resonates with you, I welcome you to get in touch for a first conversation.

I provide a safe, inclusive, anti-racist, queer-affirming, neurodiverse-positive space for healing. Using a psychodynamic approach, I work creatively with writing, imagery, and unconscious exploration to help you process the past, break stuck patterns, and create meaningful change. My ideal clients are people who feel marginalised in multitudes of ways. Those who are struggling within our capitalist societal pressures, those who have experiences of racist trauma, intergenerational trauma, those who have experienced homophobia, transphobia and mysogny. Clients who have attachment issues and dysfunctional family dynamics and experiences of abuse. My approach is psychodynamic, with a strong focus on early experiences, unconscious dynamics, and intergenerational influence. Alongside this, I offer a creative, intuitive way of working — using writing, imagery, metaphor, and visual tools where words may not be enough. I offer a supportive space to explore how past experiences—including those shaped by family history and systemic inequality—affect your life today. My approach draws on relational and depth-based therapies to help you understand patterns, process emotions, and reconnect with yourself in a way that feels empowering and affirming of your identity.

I work with many clients with varying neurodivergent needs and I have over 15 years experience of working with neurodivergent people. I volunteered in Calais working with Help for Refugees and it was through the experience of seeing therapists working with refugees that I began the process of training to become a therapist myself as I felt that this must be infinitely rewarding. I trained at Brighton University receiving my PGDip in Psychodynaminc therapy and through this training developed an interest in decolonising the therapeutic experience recognising the absence of Black and global majority therapists particularly in Brighton. I have worked for refugee charities and have had a diversity of clients from all communities and backgrounds.
