I am passionate about providing a safe space for individuals to feel able to explore their experiences free of judgement. I have personally felt how impactful and empowering it is to be truly heard and understood by another person, and am committed to offering this supportive space for others. I am captivated by the vastness and diversity of human experience and am grateful to have worked with people of varying ages and different walks of life. I have experience working with neurodiversity, including those who feel curious about their experiences, and those who identify as neurodivergent (for example ADHD or Autism). Those who are neurodivergent, or are questioning whether they are, may hold feelings of being different, feel misunderstood by others, or struggle to keep up with daily demands of life. These experiences can in turn lead to feelings of stress, anxiety, depression, low self esteem or burnout.

As a person-centred therapist I offer a steady presence, staying alongside you to help navigate and explore the difficulties you are experiencing together. I believe that you are the expert in your own experience. My aim is to offer you acceptance, empathy and non-judgement, with the hopes of being able to gain a closer understanding of you. Through our shared efforts, this will shed some light on your true and authentic self, helping you to feel more attuned and connected with yourself and your mental health.

I have 6 years of experience working with children and young adults with learning difficulties, initially as a support worker and later as an assistant psychologist. Throughout, I worked with neurodivergent individuals, including Autism and ADHD, developing a greater understanding and an interest in supporting those who are neurodivergent. When completing my counselling diploma, I undertook placements at Heads Together (free counselling service for 11-24 year olds), Release (a counselling service for women) and Flourish (a low-cost counselling service).
