I’m Oriana (she/her), an MBACP-registered counsellor, working in Brighton and Hove and online. I believe that my role as a therapist is to meet you where you are and explore what’s happening in your life with care and curiosity. Whether you’re struggling with something specific or searching for change, we’ll move at a pace that feels safe for you. I offer a free initial consultation so you can see whether therapy with me feels like a good fit. I hold sessions in person —including walking therapy—or online across the UK. I work both in English and in Italian.
My approach blends talking therapy with creative, somatic and experiential techniques, offering new ways to understand yourself on a deeper level. I have a particular interest in how our minds and bodies adapt to the world, including experiences of neurodiversity, chronic pain, and different ways of processing sensations, thoughts, and emotions. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and hold a Diploma in Gestalt Counselling and a Certificate in Humanistic Counselling, both from The Gestalt Centre, London. I work have worked as a counsellor with As You Are, a Southwick-based charity providing low-cost counselling and group work for adults across Sussex, as well as with The Gestalt Centre’s Low-Cost Therapy Scheme.
