Therapists
Hi, I’m Anna. As a BACP-registered counsellor, I provide a compassionate space to help you make sense of your experiences and move toward lasting change. I believe that understanding our past allows us to outgrow the 'survival strategies' that often hold us back in the present. Whether you are facing a specific crisis or seeking deeper self-discovery, I offer an empathic approach that prioritises your safety and follows your lead.
My approach is psychodynamic, meaning I will support you to explore patterns in your life that are no longer serving you. At times, we will look at our own therapeutic dynamic to better understand your internal world and how you relate to yourself and others. I provide a non-judgmental space to navigate your journey, offering both short-term and open-ended therapy tailored to your needs. As an LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist, I am committed to supporting the community through knowledge, experience and understanding. I invite you to get in touch to discuss how we might work together.
I hold a BACP-accredited diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling, an approach that allows us to work in depth, by exploring both your past and present experiences. With several years of experience across community services and private practice, I bring clinical insight to our sessions. My background in Education provides me with an understanding of the specific pressures and emotional demands faced by those working in schools.
