I am an neurodivergent affirming counsellor who works with autism, learning disabilities and many life challenges. I worked for over 12 years with clients with autism and learning disabilities, I’m experienced adapting to client’s needs. I am here to help you figure things out, to move your life forward when you feel tired, anxious, depressed, stuck, sad, traumatised, unconfident, helpless, worthless, guilty, ashamed, overwhelmed, lost, confused, suffering from a bereavement, can't move forward, or something just isn't right.
As a warm, empathetic, sensitive, and non-judgmental therapist, I will support you to explore ways to change. I provide a welcoming, safe, and reflective space where you can feel at ease to explore every aspect of your life, be heard, and understood without judgement. I will help you to make sense of how you got here, to explore your future, grow your inner resources and make positive changes. I will help you to explore and work through your feelings, to come to your own conclusions, and support you to incorporate these changes into your everyday life. If this sounds like something you are looking for then feel free to contact me for an initial free 30-minute phone or zoom session to see if you want to move forward with the first session.
I have Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, I worked with Cruse Bereavement with their grief training course, helping clients to work through their grief. I was a school counsellor with child clients through Place2Be, working creatively can help people to explore their feelings when talking is something that they find hard. I also have degree in Drama in the Community, which informs my creative work.
