Therapists
I'm a qualified counsellor based in Brighton and London, and I specialise in supporting adults through some of life's most difficult experiences — whether that's the pain of bereavement, the exhaustion of chronic anxiety, LGBT pressures and the stress that builds up when life feels unmanageable. Grief can take many forms. It isn't always about death — it can be the loss of a relationship, a job, your health, or a version of your life you'd imagined. Whatever you're carrying, I offer a space where you can speak freely, without judgement, at your own pace. For those living with anxiety and stress, I work to help you understand what's driving it, develop tools to manage it, and over time, feel more grounded and in control of your life.
My approach is integrative with a person-centred leaning, which means our work is tailored to you as an individual, not a one-size-fits-all method. I see clients in person in Brighton and London, and currently have availability for new clients. Sessions are 60 minutes, and I offer an initial free 15 minute telephone consultation so you can get a sense of whether working together feels right. Whether you are looking for a single session to discuss a particular issue or working on a short/long term basis, we can put a plan together that will work best for you and your lifestyle. Taking that first step can feel daunting — but reaching out is often the hardest part. I'd be glad to hear from you. I am an Accredited Member of the NCPS
Having worked in the corporate and hospitality world for over 30 years including managing my own London based business for 14 years, I am aware of the stress that workplace pressure can bring into our life. For the past two years I have been working in a hospice, with patients and family/friends who are dealing with the painful journey of death and grief. Within my private practice, I offer a confidential and non-judgemental space where we can explore any concerns, emotions, issues or self-discoveries that you wish to bring.
