I feel passionately about the benefits of therapy as I have personally found it immensely valuable in helping me make choices in life and to work through difficult issues that have affected me. I am an Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) which means i am an experienced, competent and ethical practitioner. I offer both longer term and short term therapy to individuals experiencing a wide range of issues. My experience and interests covers many areas. As an Accredited member of BACP, I am also able to offer therapy to students that are training to be therapists.

I am an Integratively trained Counselling Therapist. This means I can bring together a range of psychological therapies to provide individuals with support, insight and change. I am able to draw together the most useful parts of a range of therapeutic approaches, and be able to respond flexibly to the needs of different clients. I am a trauma informed therapist which means I am trained and experienced in working safely with any kind of trauma. I am able to facilitate change with clients. First, I believe that it is the power of the relationship between client and therapist that creates the possibility for dialogue and change. This is a unique relationship in which there is a balance between supporting, guiding and challenging, whilst respecting that the client is in charge of their world. In working with me, you will not be judged for the choices you are making or have made in the past. However, if these choices are no longer working for you, we will guide you to find other ways of living your life and in freeing yourself from dysfunctional and painful ways of seeing yourself.

In addition to my private practice, I have also worked as a therapist for a number of charities, the NHS, and an employee assistance programme. I have experience of working with a range of different clients with various presenting issues. I am currently working in the charity sector (a local women's trauma charity) alongside running my private practice.
