I am an experienced counsellor working with adults and younger people aged 17+. I have specialist experience working with people who have experienced sexual violence or have a history of sexual abuse as children or adults. I am a passionate trans ally and work with gender expansive LGBTQIA+ clients, members of the queer community, intersex and endosex clients and their family and friends. I would describe myself as an intersectional feminist. I continue to strive for anti racist and anti colonial approaches in my therapeutic approach. I have ADHD and dyslexia and welcome clients with neurodiversity of all kinds.

Technically I describe my practice as Humanistic but I'm aware that this often doesn't mean much to a client, especially one new to counselling or therapy. Fundamentally I am interested in building a relationship with a client where together we can trust the therapy process to bring up what is important- a space that feels safe and containing but also where you can challenge patterns of relationship, thoughts or behaviour that have become unhelpful or restrictive. I charge £50 per 50 min face to face session. I offer a limited amount of lower cost sessions. Please contact me for more details.

I trained in Brighton University 10 years ago and since then I have worked in several local charity settings, universities, International colleges and in private practice. I have centred my work around things I feel passionate about and areas like sex and sexuality, gender identity, oppression, trauma, anxiety, addiction, suicide and depression where we often need support to explore safely.
