Therapists

Hello and welcome. I bring warmth, curiosity and a sense of possibility into my counselling practice. I’m genuinely interested in your unique experience, what life feels like from your perspective, and I hold a strong belief in the therapeutic relationship as a space where meaningful change can unfold. It’s a privilege to walk alongside you as you explore your story, your identity, and what truly matters to you.

I draw mainly on person-centred and psychodynamic approaches. This means that as well as offering a safe and supportive space to work through current difficulties, at times we may explore at how earlier experiences and your unconscious patterns of behaviour are influencing the present. This can lead to greater freedom to make different choices as you grow.

Before training as a counsellor, I worked as a secondary school teacher. This experience gave me a strong understanding of people, relationships, and the challenges individuals can face at different stages of life. It also shaped my ability to listen, build trust, and respond with empathy. These are qualities I now bring into my work as a counsellor.
