Therapists
I aim to offer a safe space for exploration which places value on the therapeutic relationship therefore I offer a free 30 minute initial consultation so we can see if we’re a good fit. Please contact me at brightonhovetherapy@gmail.com if you have any questions.
Life can be difficult at times and it can be helpful to speak to someone who is non-judgemental and values your experience - I aim to offer this space for you within an accepting and warm relationship. Through valuing your individuality and offering acceptance, I hope to foster a safe environment within which change can occur and you can reach your full potential.
I’m trained in humanistic therapy which includes person-centred, gestalt and transactional analysis. I have always had a fascination with people, first completing a BSc in Psychology then following it and a background of charity, care and support work. I have a particular interest in attachment and relationships and I have years of experience working in a trauma-informed way with vulnerable and marginalised clients. I have experience and a particular interest in monogamous and non-traditional relationships, sexual orientation, sexual identity and family relationships. as well as exploring with clients around their family dynamic and relationships. I have also had experience working with depression, anxiety, abuse, self-harm, bereavement and chronic illness. Overall, I am deeply interested in human lived experience, whatever that may be.
