I am a BABCP-accredited CBT Psychotherapist and NET Practitioner living in Brighton. The mode of therapy I use is known as CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) which is an evidence-based approach that draws on principles of cognitive theory and behaviourist theory to help people recover from anxiety and depression. CBT involves practical homework to ensure you have the right skills to support yourself in the future. The therapy process in CBT is a bit like a factory machine - the more you put in the more you get out of it. I am also trained in Narrative Exposure Therapy which is used to treat Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I take a culturally and spiritually informed approach to working with clients so that an individual's specific needs are listened to and catered for. I always remind my clients that therapy is a safe space, and no matter what they bring to the session it will always be respected with compassion and of course, confidentiality. I offer a free, 30-minute initial consultation. Please contact me by email.

I have worked in both the NHS and private health sector supporting individuals to recover from a wide range of mental health problems. I am able to work with various issues such as low self esteem, trauma, panic, anxiety, depression, OCD and health anxiety. I have a particular interest in making mental health more accessible to meet the diverse needs of different ethnicities and cultures in the UK.
