Establishing a safe therapeutic relationship is one of the most important parts of effective psychological therapy. I am passionate in supporting people by creating a safe and non-judgmental space where we can explore difficult topics in a comfortable way. I use an integrative approach drawing ideas from different psychological therapy models so that I can adapt the therapeutic space to the individual needs of my clients. I am a qualified Senior Clinical Psychologist and have experience working across various settings within the NHS and private practice. I am passionate in working with people who identify as LGBTQ+.

I work from a trauma-informed framework and have specialist training in trauma-focused approaches, including trauma-focused cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). I use an integrative approach in my practice, drawing on ideas from different therapeutic modalities, including CBT, EMDR, Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I work primarily with people of working age (18+) and couples. A lot of my practice is based on understanding attachment and the difficulties that can arise in our lives when traumatic experiences might have happened during our formative years. I value lived experience and do not consider myself to be the "expert in the room", as I believe everyone has strengths and resources, and empowering clients is key in the effectiveness of psychological therapy.

I am a Senior Clinical Psychologist and have experience working in the NHS and private practice. I am skilled in working with a series of psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and difficulties associated with traumatic experiences, relational difficulties, OCD. I have specialist training in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing. I have worked in a range of settings within the NHS and in private practice and I am therefore skilled in providing a flexible approach that can fit to the needs of the people I support.
