I offer shorter term counselling of 6 sessions, working in a solution focused way, to help you learn tools and techniques for working through issues such as work related stress, anxiety, boundary setting and managing emotions. I also offer 12 session blocks with a focus on one or more issues or challenges you are facing, with the option of extending these if needed. Issues include – relationship difficulties, managing mental health, finding direction and purpose, exploring sexuality and gender. I am a LGBTQ affirmative therapist. I am aware that we live in a heteronormative and cisnormative society and how this can impact on our self worth and cause feelings of shame, doubt, loneliness, anxiety and depression. Counselling can help provide a safe space to explore these and other difficulties without feeling judged or misunderstood. I work with clients in monogamous, polyamorous and open relationships and offer individual and relationship counselling.
