Do you ever feel unseen or unheard in your relationships? Maybe you've struggled with emotional neglect, feeling like your needs don’t matter. These painful experiences—sometimes starting in childhood, other times in adulthood—can shape how you relate to yourself and others. Over time, they may leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected. You might struggle with self-doubt, emotional ups and downs, or difficulty trusting in relationships. Therapy can offer a safe space to explore these patterns, build emotional resilience, and reconnect with your sense of self. You don’t have to navigate this alone. If this resonates with you, reach out to book a first session to see if we’re a good fit. Visit my website to learn more: www.patriziajones.com
My approach is warm, inclusive, and collaborative. I offer a judgement-free space where you can feel truly supported as we explore your unique experience together. I actively engage in helping you process your emotions and experiences, building a secure sense of self and fostering emotional resilience. I welcome people from different backgrounds; whatever your culture, religion, race, age, sexual orientation, physical ability, or any other difference, my focus will always be in guiding you toward self-discovery and emotional resilience. The best way to see if we're a good fit is by booking an initial session, where we can explore your needs in depth and you can get a real sense of how I work.
I am an Emotionally Focused Therapist for Individuals (EFIT) with training in complex trauma and somatic trauma therapy. My professional life includes 17 years of NHS experience as a nurse supporting people through their physical and emotional healing journeys; My background in nursing gives me a unique understanding of the connection between body-mind and trauma. I have also counselling experience within the NHS Psychological Therapies where I supported people through cancer diagnosis, anxiety, depression, issues around body image, grief, relational and historical trauma, fear of death and other existential issues.
