Therapists
As we move into this darker, quieter time of the year, many of us feel a natural inclination to turn inward. This can often reveal old wounds that are still oozing, or old patterns that are unhelpful and keeping us trapped. Rather than ruminating, reaching out for help can signify the start of a transformative journey towards healing and self-awakening. I would feel honoured to accompany you on this path, providing a safe container to explore your inner world. I am a therapist-in-training at the Institute of Psychosynthesis and offer a dynamic and non-judgemental space where you can show up as you are. I don't believe in labelling or pathologising people and their experiences - you are the expert on yourself, and my role is to hold, nurture, mirror, reflect, and gently challenge where appropriate.
My approach is rooted in Psychosynthesis, which means I work with the different parts of the self that make up who we are. Together, we explore these parts in a safe and reflective space, helping you build an inner observing presence that allows you to step back from overwhelming emotions and come back to your centre. I also integrate somatic work, paying attention to the wisdom of the body as part of the therapeutic process. I am curious about the whole spectrum of the human experience - highs and lows, light and shadow, expansion and constriction. You are invited to bring the entirety of yourself into these sessions with me and will be received with warmth, openness, and compassion.
I hold a BSc in Psychology, a MSc in Neuroscience, and a MA in Psychosynthesis Psychology. I have experience seeing clients in private practice and community settings, as I've previously worked in an addiction recovery centre. I'm a trainee member of the UKCP and adhere to their ethical and professional standards.
