I’ve been working in clinical practice since 2009, supporting people to create meaningful change by working with both the mind and the body. At the heart of my work is the understanding that many of our challenges are shaped by unconscious patterns, deeply held beliefs and nervous system responses that quietly influence how we think, feel, and behave. Through hypnotherapy, coaching and somatic trauma release techniques, we can gently uncover these limiting beliefs and begin to shift them at a deep level, allowing new thoughts, behaviours, and possibilities to emerge. Alongside this, I also offer Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy a gentle yet profound ways to release stored tension, stress, and trauma, supporting both physical and emotional wellbeing. I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation for new clients. Single sessions: £60 www.christinalavelle.com

Stress and trauma can accumulate in the body over time, activating fight, flight, or freeze responses. When these states persist, they can lead to feelings of overwhelm, disconnection, numbness, chronic pain, or a sense of being stuck. Limiting beliefs can become entrenched, running quietly in the background and shaping your experience of life, often without conscious awareness. But it doesn’t have to stay this way. With the right support, your body has a natural capacity to release these patterns and return to a state of balance, vitality, and greater ease. I combine somatic (body-based) work with psychological and coaching approaches to support this process, helping you reconnect with yourself and the world around you. Every healing journey is deeply personal. There are no rigid protocols in my work, only a commitment to being fully present, listening to your body’s wisdom, and creating a safe, supportive space where meaningful change can unfold. Every healing journey is deeply personal, and I honor this by tailoring each session to your unique needs. There are no rigid protocols, only a commitment to being fully present, listening to your body’s wisdom, and creating a safe, supportive space for your healing process.

I’ve been fascinated by human behavior for as long as I can remember, and this curiosity has shaped my life choices from a young age, from studying psychology, to travelling and experiencing different cultures, to completing a diploma in drama. It came as no surprise to my family when I went on to train in Neuro Therapy and co-founded Brainworks Neurotherapy in 2009. Alongside this work, I continued to deepen my training, integrating therapies such as hypnotherapy, craniosacral therapy, and somatic trauma-informed approaches, modalities that address the whole person and complement each other beautifully. My training includes working with PTSD and sexual abuse, and I bring this experience with sensitivity, respect, and care for each individual’s pace and process.
