Many people sense that their stress, anxiety or trauma is not only something they think about, but something they carry in their body. My work recognises this connection between mind and body and offers a therapeutic space where both can be explored. I am an integrative counsellor offering a warm, thoughtful and non-judgemental environment where you can speak openly about whatever you are experiencing. Clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck in repeating patterns, or affected by past experiences that continue to shape their present lives. Alongside talking therapy, my work is informed by an embodied and holistic understanding of wellbeing. Many people are looking not only to talk about their difficulties but to develop a deeper understanding of themselves and to release the emotional weight they have been carrying.

My approach is integrative, relational and holistic, meaning that therapy is tailored to the individual rather than following a single fixed method. The therapeutic relationship is central to my work, offering a safe and supportive space where exploration and change can happen at a pace that feels manageable. Alongside talking therapy, my background in embodiment informs my awareness of how emotional experiences are expressed through the body. Where appropriate, I may incorporate breathwork, gentle movement or visualisation to support clients in becoming more aware of how emotions, memories and patterns are held physically. This approach can help clients release stress and anxiety, process difficult experiences and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. I welcome clients to bring whatever is present for them, and we work collaboratively to support meaningful and lasting change. I adopt a holistic approach and will safely help you to explore feelings that are held in the body, which can calm the mind. As an integrative therapist, I incorporate a range of models that I will tailor to your individual needs, co-creating possibilities towards a life with meaning that can be enjoyed. I offer a free 20-minute call so that you can see how I work and if we are the right fit. There is no obligation for you to rebook or remain in counselling if you decide you no longer wish to do so. I look forward to supporting you on your journey towards reaching your full potential!

I have worked for the NHS as a counsellor in GP practices and have experience in primary care, for NHS Psychological Services IAPT Program and in private practice. I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling and have also undertaken psychotherapy studies at Master’s level, deepening my understanding of therapeutic theory and clinical practice. Alongside my counselling training, I bring a longstanding background in embodiment and body-based practices, which has strongly influenced my understanding of emotional wellbeing. This perspective recognises that experiences such as stress, trauma and anxiety can be held both psychologically and physically. Through my work I have supported adults experiencing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, sexuality and intimacy concerns, addiction, alcoholism, and relationship difficulties. I also recognise that many people arrive in therapy without a clear label for what they are experiencing and simply need a safe space to explore and make sense of their lives.
