Therapists
Thanks for visiting my page. Currently my practice is full and I’m not operating a waiting list. I am a qualified, experienced Gestalt Therapist (UKCP Reg.) and trainer and group process facilitator at Re-Vision and Nature Therapy School. My specialisms and areas of interest include relational trauma and the impact on relationship dynamics, loss, and identity and belonging. As an embodied relational practitioner I work with the interplay of mind, brain and body. I invite you bring attention to your felt sense of what might be going on for you in the here and now, as well as expressing your story. I facilitate Gestalt groups, a dynamic arena for growth and change. I also lead hikes for city folk to get out into nature.
I take a holistic approach to talking therapy, integrating relational Gestalt therapy with somatic work. I believe the relationship with your therapist is an important consideration when choosing a therapist. A good therapeutic relationship helps create a safe space in which to bring your struggles and heighten awareness of where you might be stuck, so that you have more agency and choice in life. I offer a non-judgemental and non-directive space in which to explore old patterns of thinking and relating that might no longer be useful to you and where you can try out new ways of being. I offer a collaborative, experiential and intuitive approach to my work that regards all forms of relating as communication - including your silence, posture, movements, blankness or stuckness.
I am a therapy practitioner, trainer and facilitator. I have over nine years of clinical experience and over 15 years working in the voluntary sector.
