I work with people who are experiencing difficulties with stress, anxiety, depression, motivation, identity, emotional problems, work-related issues, relationship difficulties, grief and coming to terms with what life has thrown at them. As an integrative counsellor, I draw from various approaches, aiming to deliver a service tailored to your unique needs. It is always my aim to create a comprehensive and flexible way of working that promotes healing and personal growth. I see therapy as not simply giving advice or saying what needs to be done to make changes; but more about gaining an understanding of people’s perceptions and feelings, helping to explore a way forward which is lasting and beneficial. I value the importance of providing a safe and non-judgmental space for people to explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. It is always my hope that by working relationally, I can provide what you may need in a comfortable counselling setting in Brighton & Hove, in Lewes or online. Our first session will be free of charge and will give us an opportunity to get to know each other, with an emphasis on finding out how we can work together.

Integrative which includes Person Centred, Existential, Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive. It’s always been my belief that in counselling there is no one size fits all and that the therapeutic journey is about what is most suitable and agreeable to the person sitting in front of me at the time.

My past experiences include working with adults of all ages, people with learning and physical disabilities, Adult Social Care, alcohol and drug addiction, Veterans and serving Armed Forces Personal and their families. I have also taught adults at graduate level and primary school children. Aside from counselling I enjoy playing music in a local band, breaks away in my campervan, cycling, racquet sports and walking our labradoodle.
