Therapists

Hello, I’m Chandni, a registered therapist. I support clients across Brighton and Hove. I offer a thoughtful, grounded, and accepting therapeutic space where all parts of you are welcome. I work collaboratively with people experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship and family difficulties, identity and belonging, and periods of feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain in life. I believe counselling can offer a space where you feel truly seen, and where your experiences and authentic self are met with interest, care, and respect. Alongside my core person-centred practice, I have undertaken specialist training in remote therapeutic work.

My approach is grounded in person-centred counselling, and shaped by the belief that being deeply listened to and understood can itself be transformative. I bring a considered quality of attention, creating space for reflection, emotional understanding, and exploration at a pace that feels supportive and containing for you. Through gentle curiosity and compassionate enquiry, we can explore what has brought you to therapy, alongside the patterns, experiences, or questions that may feel difficult to carry alone. I work collaboratively and respect your autonomy, trusting that you are the expert of your own experience. I understand that people do not always arrive knowing exactly what they need from therapy. Sometimes the work begins simply with a sense that something feels overwhelming, uncertain, painful, or hard to make sense of. Together, we can make space for this and allow the work to unfold naturally over time.

I hold a BACP-accredited BSc (Hons) in Person-Centred Pluralistic Counselling (Advanced Practitioner), graduating with First Class Honours, which reflects both my academic and clinical training. I trained at the Metanoia Institute, a leading counselling and psychotherapy training institution in the UK, which is widely recognised for its high standards of professional training and clinical practice. I also hold a BACP-accredited Professional Certificate of Facilitation for Online and Telephone Counselling, reflecting my specialised training in the relational and practical nuances of working remotely. This means online and phone therapy with me is competently and ethically held. I have clinical experience working across universities, charities, bereavement services, and online counselling services supporting working professionals.
