Hello, I'm Tania an experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor offering a safe space to support you with insight and a deeper understanding of what is troubling you. You will be listened to with empathy and without judgement. My aim is to help you explore your experiences and gain deeper understanding of yourself. Through our sessions, we can move towards greater clarity, emotional healing, and a stronger sense of self.
My therapeutic approach is humanistic and integrative, and I see every client as an individual. I believe each of us is unique, and so are our challenges and the ways we can overcome them. In our work together, I draw from your life experiences and my knowledge of a range of therapeutic approaches to create a tailored approach that works for you. I work in a trauma-informed way, recognising how past and present experiences can shape the way we feel, think, and relate. My priority is to create a safe, steady space where you feel supported and able to explore at your own pace. I will help you to become more aware of unhelpful patterns in your life and support you in changes that you are looking to make at a pace that is safe and comfortable for you.
I have experience working within the NHS at the Sussex Cancer Centre as part of the Psychological Therapies team, where I support clients living with the impact of cancer. This includes working with people facing a terminal diagnosis, as well as those navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement, and the many emotional challenges that accompany serious illness. I also have several years’ experience in higher education, supporting young adults with a wide range of mental health concerns, including suicidal ideation, identity struggles, and the challenges of major life transitions. These experiences have shaped my practice into one that is compassionate, flexible, and responsive to the unique needs of each person I work with.
