I am a warm, caring, highly experienced Therapist (since 2000). My aim is to help clients to reduce their mental & emotional distress & to resource them, within the counselling process, to improve their quality of life. On a Therapeutic journey with me, you will build resilience, reduce anxious thoughts, re-set your personal boundaries and improve your personal and professional relationships. This can have a huge impact on a person's coping strategies and ability to make more affirmative choices in life. I work with loss, anxiety & depression, relationship issues, college/university study stress, fertility issues, menopause, ADHD integration, hormonal problems, trauma, self-harm/suicidal thoughts, OCD & the inner critic, and the later years. I can work on a short-term or long-term basis and can meet online or face to face..

I use the principles of Humanistic & Integrative Counselling to meet with my clients; my approach is relational - I utilise the core skills of listening, responding with compassion, insight, understanding and a lack of judgement, to create a safe therapeutic space and a dialogue within which change can happen. I may use art materials, visual / symbolic images, breathwork & mindfulness practices to support our work & to reduce anxiety. I attend regular Professional Training (CPD), am part of a peer supervision group and have monthly clinical supervision in support of my clients and my work.

I qualified as an Integrative Counsellor in 2018, having previously practiced as a Dramatherapist in London since 2000 (Individual & Group Work). I am a specialist in Women's Health (having worked at Women & Health Camden 1994-2007) and am a qualified University Counsellor & Specialist Mentor. I have been increasingly specialising in Neuro-diversity/ Neuro-developmental issues, within my Counselling Practice, supporting clients to seek diagnosis and to offer ongoing support-strategies for clients post-diagnosis. I am experienced with young adults 18+ & university students, who have anxiety, depression, OCD, self-critical/sabotaging thoughts, self-harm/suicide ideation & can coach students to overcome study stress & increase their self-belief and their organisational skills. I frequently work in the area of loss, relationship difficulties/break-up's and to help individuals to re-connect with themselves and to be able to communicate their needs and boundaries to their partner more effectively. I also work in the area of trauma - childhood/adult; and with attachment disorders (familial). I have helped clients with chronic illness, CFS, PMDD/ hormonal issues and ongoing emotional dysregulation. I have an interest in Women experiencing menopause or fertility issues and younger women who are impacted by hormonal issues. .I originally trained as a Dramatherapist at Central School of Speech & Drama. I trained as a Therapeutic Counsellor between 2009-17. I am also a Holistic Therapist & a University Counselling Mentor, but enjoy Integrative Counselling in Private Practice as my main career vocation.
