Hi, my name is Josie and I am passionate about helping people of all ages discover maximum happiness in life. Dedicated and compassionate, I believe in a collaborative approach that is tailored to the needs of each individual and I have experience helping people with countless different issues from anxiety, depression and unresolved childhood trauma to name but a few. Specifically, I have over 8 years experience working with vulnerable children and young people in different settings, with a Masters Degree in Child Psychology. However I am passionate about helping people at any stage of life overcome their most difficult challenges. One of the most powerful tools we have at our disposal is talking, but I am also trained to incorporate play, art, music and drama into the space if desired.
I offer support built on the foundations of a strong theraputic relationship, based on active listening and collaboration. If we chose to work together I am committed to delivering empathic, non-judgmental, and effective care that supports your individual needs. I want to enhance your wellbeing by focusing on the issues you want to explore. Together, we can discover your best choices, focus on self-development, healing and growth. My goal is to help you achieve your full potential by being a part of your journey of discovery and self-awareness. Whether you’re navigating complex issues, facing tough decisions or just feeling a little stuck, talking to someone is almost always the beginning of the answer. So, if you’re seeking a therapis who can offer both professional support and genuine understanding, I encourage you to reach out.
I am a trained Humanistic Therapist, specialising in working with children and young people as well as adults with trauma and attachment issues. I have several years experience working with looked after children and also in CAMHS.
