Therapists
I offer one to one counselling and psychotherapy face to face and online, as well as walk and talk therapy in Brighton & Hove and the surrounding area. I work with both short-term and longer-term therapy, depending on what you need and what feels right for you. I’ve supported many people who are living with anxiety, low confidence and self-esteem, as well as those who feel stuck or overwhelmed in their relationships or working life. I have a particular interest in working with parents, carers, and people experiencing stress, overwhelm and burnout. If you’re feeling unsure how to make the changes you want to make, or you can see what needs to change but don’t know how to get there, therapy can help. Together we can explore what’s going on for you, understand unhelpful patterns, and build steadier confidence so you can feel more connected, motivated and fulfilled in yourself, your life and your relationships. I offer a free 20 minute consultation, giving you the chance to meet me, ask questions, and talk through any anxieties you might have before deciding whether I’m the right counsellor for you. If you’d like to book a consultation, please get in touch.
Life can be difficult, unpredictable and at times overwhelming. You might be feeling anxious, low in confidence, or as though you’re just getting through the days. Or you may notice the same patterns repeating in your relationships or working life, even when part of you desperately wants things to change. Because you are unique, I don’t work from a one-size-fits-all approach. I’ll take time to understand your experiences, your needs and your way of communicating, and we’ll shape the therapy around you. My role isn’t to 'fix' things for you, but to support you to understand what’s happening underneath the surface, build self-awareness, and develop practical strategies you can use in everyday life. I believe personal growth is possible for everyone, and therapy can be a powerful space to reconnect with your own capacity to change. I offer a calm, confidential space away from the outside world, where respect, acceptance, kindness, clarity, collaboration and patience sit at the centre of our work together.
I’m a qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and a member of the National Counselling Society. My core modality is Transactional Analysis (TA), and I work integratively, drawing on TA alongside psychodynamic, relational and CBT approaches. This means we can tailor our work to you: what you’re bringing, how you relate, and what kind of support helps you most. Before training as a counsellor, I worked in learning and development and employee wellbeing for over fifteen years. That experience helped me build a grounded, compassionate way of working with people from a wide range of ages, genders and backgrounds, including those navigating stress, anxiety, relationships, confidence issues and burnout.
